These terms explain the rules for playing at Halifax Casino. Sign up or bet with us and you agree to them.

A. Accepting these terms

These Terms of Use form the agreement between you and Halifax Casino, the online casino based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. They cover your account, your funds and every game you play with us. If you disagree with them, please do not register or play.

B. Bonuses

Bonuses, the welcome offer and Halifax Rewards run under our separate Bonus Terms. Where a promotion's rules differ from these terms, the Bonus Terms decide for that promotion.

C. Changes to these terms

New laws, game changes or new payment options can lead us to update these terms. Each revision appears on this page, dated. Big changes are flagged by email or by a notice at login. Continuing to play once an update is live means you accept the new terms.

D. Complaints

Problem with a game or payment? Email support@halifaxcasino.app. Include your username, the game or transaction involved, the exact date and time, plus what went wrong. Screenshots help.

Every complaint is investigated, and we explain the outcome in an email reply. If our first response does not resolve the matter, write back and request that a senior team member reconsider it.

E. Prohibited conduct

To keep all tables and slots fair, you must not:

  • use scripts, bots or automated tools that bet in your place or tilt play unfairly toward you;
  • collude with other players or share an account;
  • exploit a bug, error or game fault;
  • pay using methods that were stolen, borrowed or belong to another person;
  • launder money or pass funds through your account without real play;
  • hide your location or identity, including with a VPN;
  • abuse, threaten or harass other players or our staff.

Break these rules and we act fast: the account can be suspended, all linked bets and payouts voided, and the account shut permanently. Where legislation obliges us, we report the details to the proper authorities.

F. Limits of our liability

We operate the site with care, but uptime and error-free play are not guaranteed. Losses caused by your own device or connection, by outages beyond our control, or by you breaking our terms are not our responsibility.

If we are at fault, our liability does not exceed the disputed amount in your account. Nothing in this section removes any protection you have under Canadian consumer law.

G. Deposits and withdrawals

Every account runs in Canadian dollars (CAD). Deposits and cashouts cost nothing on our side.

  • Minimum deposit: C$5.
  • Minimum withdrawal: C$20.
  • Maximum withdrawal: C$10 000 per month.
  • Payout speed: most methods land your cash within one to four hours. A bank wire takes 12 hours or less.

Deposits and withdrawals must use a method registered to you. ID and location checks come first: no opening deposit is accepted until they're done, and payouts can be paused until the check clears. Your bank or e-wallet provider may add fees of its own.

H. Who can play

Players must be 19+ and physically in Canada. Sign-ups are taken only where it is legal, and Canadian anti-money laundering, age check and ID verification rules apply. Anyone who is self-excluded can't open or use an account.

I. One account per person

Every player gets one account only. At registration, provide accurate details: your email, full legal name, birth date and residential address. Keep them up to date and never share your password.

We close any duplicate accounts and may cancel bonuses or winnings connected to them.

J. Games, RNG and live tables

Every game's help screen sets out its rules and payouts. An RNG (the random number generator) decides slot and digital table game outcomes, with each result independent of the last. Live dealer tables reach you via a studio stream, and the table result is final.

Malfunctions void plays and payouts. If a technical fault, whether in the game, on the server or with your connection, disrupts a round, the bets involved are voided and stakes go back to you. Where the server record lets us restore a round, we complete it as that record shows.

K. Intellectual property

The Halifax Casino name and logo, the site design and all content belong to us or our content partners, such as game studios. They are for playing here only. Scraping, copying or reusing anything from the site needs our written permission.

L. Governing law

Canadian law and the law of Nova Scotia govern these terms and any related dispute, unless the laws where you live give you rights that take priority.
